At The Garibaldi School, we believe that examination success allows our students to make the very most of their lives and student achievement is at the very heart of everything we do. In 2016 the school’s Progress 8 score was +0.23. This is equivalent to every students being around half a grade above target in every subject. The Attainment 8 score was 51.2 (provisional).
66% of students achieved A*–C in English and Maths; this was well above target.

In 2016 16% of the year group opted to study the English Baccalaureate. Of these 72% achieved this measure, which was above target. The figure for the year group as a whole was 12%.
89% of students made three levels of progress in English against a target of 66%. 50% made four levels of progress against a target of 28%.
67% of students made three levels of progress in Maths against a target of 60%. 30% made 4 levels of progress against a target of 20%.
Pupil Premium students achieved an Attainment 8 score of 41.7 Non-Pupil Premium students achieved an Attainment 8 score of 55.9.
SEND students achieved an Attainment 8 score of 36.5. Non-SEND students achieved an Attainment 8 score of 52.7.
