Widening Participation Week

This week, students in Years 7 to 10 have taken part in the School’s Widening Participation Week, including Study Period activities on careers, finance and aspirations, workshops with ex-sixth formers, sessions on University delivered by The University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University, and talks on Apprenticeships from ASK Apprenticeships.

Students across the school have all had access to some form of provision relating to raising their aspirations, encouraging them to realise the potential that they have and how they can meet their long-term goals. This week’s activities are only the start of our students’ futures, and we will always strive to ensure that students are challenged to set their goals and ambitions as high as possible.
